Most artifacts do one thing well. The Cauldron does three:

However, in Commander, this is a massive role-player. In decks like Meren of Clan Nel Toth or Baba Lysaga, it provides a level of redundancy that makes your engine feel unstoppable. It’s “Recurring Nightmare” at home—fairer, legal, and just as annoying for your opponents to deal with.
If your deck wins by out-grinding the table, find a slot for the Cauldron. Just make sure you have the mana up to use it the turn it hits the table.
